The 3rd edition of the Accra LawTech Hangout, organised by LegalTech Lounge, continues to champion conversations on legal innovation across Africa. VINT & Aletheia, Attorneys and Consultants, were proud sponsors of both the 2nd and 3rd editions of this impactful event.
In 2024, our Board Chairman, Mr. Kow Essuman, represented the firm as a panelist. In 2025, our Managing Attorney, Mrs. Lady-Ann Essuman, joined the panel under the event’s theme for the year: “AI in Legal: The Next Decade in Africa.”
Mrs. Essuman contributed to the discussion on the topic: “Banking on Innovation: What the Legal Industry Can Borrow from Africa’s Fintech Revolution.” She emphasized that artificial intelligence should not be feared but embraced as a tool that can significantly enhance efficiency. She encouraged legal professionals to identify aspects of their workflow that can be streamlined through technology.
In illustrating this, she spotlighted Board Assist, a legal board management application that provides law firms with a secure, simplified, and effective platform for managing board meetings, documentation, and compliance. She further encouraged the legal industry to actively explore and adopt innovative solutions as a means of driving progress and expanding access to justice across the continent. Her insights reinforced the importance of forward-thinking leadership within the legal profession and the need for continuous adaptation in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
